Here is a
superb and rare ART DECO
water pitcher.
This is the famous
GALLIA
CHRISTOFLE silver plated metal
pitcher designed by
Louis Sue et Mare
, chevron pattern.
Marked under the foot with the Christofle '
Gallia
' Cockerel factory mark and "
OC
" mark for Orfèvrerie Christofle, circa
1930 - 1950.
And the condition is very good !
Only a few tiny scratches on the silverplate, shown on pictures.
Measurements
The jug mesures
about 7 inches (about 180 mm) in heigth.
Beak to handle is about 7.5 inches (about 200 mm).
