Antique SYRUP JUG Ladies Heads Bird Bonnet VICTORIAN by Rogers Smith Silver Plt

Description

This is an antique circa 1870's Victorian silver plated syrup jug made by the Rogers & Smith Company in Connecticutt.
The hinged lid has a ladies face with bird bonnet, the handle has another ladies head and the front features an ivy garland with a C monogram and the year 1871 engraved in the center.
The underside has the makers mark and patent year as shown.
It's in good condition without any breaks or cracks with one or two small dents, old tarnish and less than expected wear to the plating.
It measures about 8" tall and 4" at the widest diameter.
