The outages come as the first snow of the season hits. A mix of rain and wet snow hit Syracuse, with southern Onondaga county seeing snow.
The Tully Fire Department asked residents to be cautious on the road and that there were multiple reports of wires down due to heavy wet snow, the department said on Facebook.
The Manlius Police Department alerted residents that roads are slick and there have been multiple accidents, according to their Facebook. Some traffic signals in Manlius and Fayetteville are out, police said. Despite the accidents, there have been no injuries, police said.
Overnight, several crashes closed parts of local highways. They have all reopened this morning.
